The first public outputs from the Security Experts Initiative project (SEINIT) are now available from the project website. Look under Downloads -> Deliverables for D3.1 'Preliminary Implementation and Development Specification'.
D3.1 is the first document of Work Package 3 (WP3) named 'Implementation of Components and Models'. This document is the report on 'Preliminary Implementation and Development Specification'.

Components are distributed in 4 tasks:

  • T3.1: Enhancements to IPv6 security mechanisms and v4-v6 transition mechansims
  • T3.2: Additional mobility support
  • T3.3: Supplementary Access Control functionality for Mobility
  • T3.4: Preliminary implementations to secure E2E service architecture

For each component provided by the WP3 tasks, the D3.1 document includes a description of the pre-existing components, explaining their purpose, how they will be used or adapted and how they will interoperate with the other components of the project. For new components needed and developed by the project, the document specifies the required behaviour and interfaces.
